Catherine & Bruno Lefebvre were born in Paris in 1963. Their career has led them to where they are today, Architects at DPLG and Designers at ENSCI-ENSAD.
They were launched onto the international stage in 1988 when they were awarded the Carte Blanche VIA, propelling them into the public eye. They have since enjoyed an incredibly varied career, spanning winning the Carte Blanche VIA for a second time in 1998, working on projects such as '30 under 30', New York, Steelcase Design, 1989, to working closely with Philippe Starck. Their Two Watt lamp created for Ligne Roset was awarded the Label VIA, 2002.
The collaboration with Ligne Roset was almost inevitable, sharing, as they do, the same vision of fusing technological advances with aesthetic pleasure. This is nowhere more perfectly evident than with their latest creation, Tip Up, in 2006.
