In 1990, designer Edward van Vliet opened Studio Edward van Vliet (SEVV), an agency concerned with the design and realisation of projects for Dutch and international companies.
This multidisciplinary design bureau focuses on the existing brand image, should the client so wish. In order to achieve a balance between function, atmosphere and emotion, the design concept must be global, following paths which are impervious to trends.
Each interior dreamt up by SEVV integrates pieces specially designed for the project, as well as specially-adapted lighting and graphics. It may also incorporate elements from diverse cultures, signifying an eclectic approach which avoids any overt ornamentation, a truly 'personal sense of design'.
