Christian Ghion was born in Montmorency in 1958.

After studying at the E.C.M. (Etude et Création de Mobilier), Paris, he spent 10 years working with Patrick Nadau.

In 1998 he began working on his own designs, in collaboration with XO, Idée (Japan) and Neotu. He has worked on scenography for Tarkett Sommer, the Cartier Foundation and the French Ministère de la Culture.

The recipient of numerous awards (Grand Prix de la Création de la ville de Paris 1991), his works can be found amongst the permanent collections of the Guggenheim Museum, New York, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris and the Fond National d'Art Contemporain.
