Martine Poulet (1962-2008).
Born in Reims and a graduate of the école des Beaux Arts there, she first joined Agence Cognard Décoration, for which she designed boutiques for Chaumet, Graff and Charles Jourdan. She then went to work for a Parisian furniture manufacturer specialising in the fitting-out of large stores such as Printemps and Galeries Lafayette, then returned to the area of her birth in 1989 to begin work as an independent interior architect. In 1993, she founded the agency APO with François Wustner, which brought together both architects and landscape architects. Since this date she has been active in a variety of fields: restaurants, hotels, guesthouses, private homes, shops ... the many projects on which she has worked, amongst which the hôtel de la Paix - praised by Elle Déco for the quality of its design - has allowed her to design an entirely new landscape for the Reims town centre.
