The matt black lacquered molded aluminum arms are a technical triumph, a perfect mate to an attractive, functional design.
CONSTRUCTION & COMFORT Seat/back in mechano-soldered steel with elastic webbed suspension on seat, supported by a metal element which acts as both front foot and armrest, made from black lacquered molded aluminum. The rear feet are also in black lacquered molded aluminum. Back cushions are compartmented, and are filled with duck feathers; these have a core of foam 26 kg/m3, 1.4 kPa. Foam on seat 38kg/m3, 3.6 kPa. Back cushions are complemented by a small feather-filled lumbar cushion. Loveseats and sofas have arm cushions (foam + feather) which are designed to mold themselves to the sweeping curve of the aluminum arms.
